Accessibility

Updated September 26, 2026. These notes explain ways to use the ceiling studios and records. Testing is ongoing; this page does not claim complete accessibility conformance.

Start with the written layout results

The layout planner reports course count, run length, net linear coverage, allowance and perimeter cuts as text. The schematic condenses layouts with more than 80 courses, so use the numerical result for the complete quantity. “Balance both edges” changes the perimeter-cut study while retaining the course count. Fixture centers are a coordination overlay and do not establish fixture support or electrical requirements.

Keyboard controls

Use the “Skip to content” link to pass the header. Tab moves through links, fields and buttons. Arrow keys move between US customary and Metric tabs, and between board-direction tabs. Enter or Space activates buttons. Native range controls in the design studio can be adjusted with arrow keys after focusing them.

Understand the visual studies

The Design Studio identifies the selected comparison using named buttons. The reference and alternate images are architectural impressions, not measured product samples. The assembly explorer provides a written explanation when you select a layer; its diagram does not supply verified fastening geometry. For actual appearance selection, review labeled physical samples and product documents.

Motion and reading size

The homepage architectural clip starts only when you choose to play it and offers a stop control. With the operating system’s reduced-motion preference enabled, the homepage uses a still image and disables that play control. You can enlarge text with browser zoom. We have not completed testing across all browser settings or assistive technologies. Report clipped text, inaccessible controls or explanations that depend on an image alone.

Keep your work

“Export worksheet” saves a JSON text file containing your inputs and results or labeled review notes. “Print” opens your browser’s print controls. The ceiling coordination record and guide worksheets are temporary; export before leaving or reloading. Saved worksheet files cannot currently be reopened in the site. A coverage checkbox records your own confirmation, not independent product verification.
